في الثاني من ديسمبر من كل عام، يُصبح علم الإمارات العربية المتحدة وإطار عشب الطاووس من أكثر المناظر الطبيعية إثارةً للإعجاب. تتشابك الأعلام الحمراء والخضراء والبيضاء والسوداء تحت أشعة الشمس، بينما يُحيط بها إطار عشب الطاووس بأغصان وأوراق ذهبية تُجسّد هذا الإيمان الذي يرمز إلى الوحدة الأبدية. هذا الإطار الخشبي، المُركّز على العلم الوطني والمنسوج من عشب الطاووس، مستوحى من الحرف التقليدية لأهل الصحراء في الإمارات. يُمكن لعشب الطاووس المقاوم للجفاف أن يُزهر أزهارًا ذهبية في درجات حرارة تصل إلى 50 درجة مئوية. يرمز الإطار الدائري المُشكّل من أغصانه بعد معالجة خاصة إلى “الحماية والاستمرار”. وكما كان البدو ينسجون خيامهم بالأشواك لحماية عائلاتهم، يستخدم شعب الإمارات اليوم هذا الإطار ليُقدّر العلم الوطني، مُرمزًا إلى أن شجاعة وحكمة أسلافهم ستُحفر إلى الأبد في الذاكرة الوطنية. في حديقة التراث بمدينة دبي إكسبو، يُدمج عشرات الآلاف من المواطنين بطاقات رؤية مكتوبة بخط اليد في إطارات عشب الطاووس. كل بطاقة مربوطة بشريط بلون العلم الوطني. عندما تهب الرياح، تبدو أحلام لا تُحصى وكأنها تتراقص في إطارها الصلب. يُذكرنا هذا الاحتفال الفريد بأن النمو الشخصي أشبه بعشبة الطاووس، التي لا تصمد أمام الرياح والرمال إلا إذا رسخت جذورها في تربة الإيمان؛ وأن ازدهار الوطن يتطلب من الجميع نسج إطار واقٍ بأيديهم. عندما تُذهّب الشمس الغائبة العلم الوطني، يُلقي إطار عشبة الطاووس شبكةً رائعة على الأرض. إنه ليس مجرد تحفة فنية من النور والظل، بل هو أيضًا رمزٌ للروح الوطنية – كل فرد غصنٌ يدعم هذا الإطار، ومعًا يحملان الإيمان الذي لا يذبل.

Every December 2, the flag of the United Arab Emirates and the peacock grass frame always become the most moving scenery. The red, green, white and black interwoven flags stretch in the sun, and the peacock grass frame surrounding them uses golden branches and leaves to freeze this belief symbolizing unity into eternity. This wooden frame centered on the national flag and woven with peacock grass originates from the traditional craftsmanship of the desert people of the United Arab Emirates. The drought-resistant peacock grass can bloom golden flowers in high temperatures of 50°C. The ring frame formed by its branches after special treatment symbolizes “protection and continuation”. Just like the Bedouins weaving tents with thorns to protect their families, today’s UAE people use this frame to treasure the national flag, symbolizing that the courage and wisdom of their ancestors will be forever engraved in the national memory. In the Dubai Expo City Heritage Park, tens of thousands of citizens are embedding handwritten vision cards into peacock grass frames. Each card is tied with a ribbon in the color of the national flag. When the wind blows, it seems that countless dreams are dancing in the tough frame. This unique ceremony reminds us that personal growth is like peacock grass, which can only withstand the wind and sand if it is rooted in the soil of faith; and the prosperity of the country requires everyone to weave a protective framework with their hands. When the setting sun gilds the national flag, the peacock grass frame casts a fine grid on the ground. It is not only a masterpiece of light and shadow, but also a totem of the national spirit – each individual is a branch supporting the framework, and together they hold up the faith that never fades.
