في نوفمبر، استهلت الإمارات العربية المتحدة احتفالاتها باليوم الوطني. رفرف علمها الوطني بألوانه الأحمر والأخضر والأبيض والأسود في الريح، كعشب الطاووس العنيد في الصحراء. هذا النبات، المعروف باسم “الزهرة الذهبية”، يُضيء الرمال الصفراء بلون برتقالي زاهي، كصورة مصغرة للازدهار الذي صنعه شعب الإمارات على أرض قاحلة، مُغذيًا الحيوية في الشدائد ومُعززًا المعجزات في الأماكن العادية. وأصبح صندوق موسيقى يدوي الصنع على شكل عشب الطاووس محور هدايا اليوم الوطني لهذا العام. عندما يحل الربيع وتتدفق الموسيقى العذبة، يُشبه تعاون التروس الدقيقة والقصب اندماج مختلف المجموعات العرقية في البلاد: كل عنصر يعمل بشكل مستقل، ولكنه يُصدر تناغمًا في إيقاع واحد. يحتاج صندوق الموسيقى إلى إعادة لفه باستمرار للحفاظ على اللحن، تمامًا مثل مجد الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الذي ينبع من الجهود الدؤوبة وتوارث الأجيال. الخطوط الحمراء على العلم الوطني غارقة في دماء الأجداد، وبتلات ذهبية لصندوق الموسيقى تُلخّص حكمة شعب اليوم. عندما يصدح لحن “نشيد الوحدة” من آلاف صناديق الموسيقى الدوارة، نسمع أروع حكاية في أعماق الصحراء: ما دام القلب والروح يترددان، فإن الرمال قادرة على أن تُزهر بتألق أبدي. هذه هي موسيقى الصامدين، الذين، في زحمة الزمن، يتجهون دائمًا نحو الشمس.

In November, the UAE ushered in the prelude of the National Day celebration. The red, green, white and black national flag stretched in the wind, just like the stubborn growth of peacock grass in the desert. This plant, known as the “golden flower”, illuminates the yellow sand with bright orange, just like the microcosm of the prosperity created by the UAE people on barren land – nurturing vitality in adversity and tempering miracles in ordinary places. And a handmade music box in the shape of peacock grass is becoming the focus of this year’s National Day souvenirs. When the spring turns and the crisp music flows, the cooperation of precision gears and reeds is just like the integration of the country’s diverse ethnic groups: each component operates independently, but bursts out harmony in the same rhythm. The music box needs to be continuously wound up to maintain the melody, just like the glory of the UAE, which comes from the unremitting efforts and inheritance of generations. The red stripes on the national flag are soaked in the blood of the ancestors, and the golden petals of the music box condense the wisdom of today’s people. When the melody of “Ode to Unity” rises from thousands of rotating music boxes, we hear the most moving fable in the depths of the desert: as long as the heart and soul resonate, the sand can also bloom with eternal brilliance. This is the music of the tenacious, who, in the gears of time, always grow towards the sun.
