In the early winter of the UAE, there is always a touch of red and green intertwined in the wind. When the national flag flutters on the top of the Dubai Tower, people wearing peacock grass lanyards look at each other and smile – this is the tacit understanding of this land, and it is also a silent tribute to the National Memorial Day. The four colors of the UAE flag tell the philosophy of symbiosis between the desert and the ocean: black symbolizes the power given by oil, white is the promise of peace, green carries the gift of the rich oasis, and red solidifies the blood of the ancestors. The peacock grass lanyard wrapped around the wrist is woven into a ring with fine fibers like gold threads, and every seven strands of thread are the embodiment of an emirate. This tough plant that grows in saline-alkali land is just like the will of the UAE people to conquer the desert. The more barren the place, the more vitality it can bloom. The weaving process of the lanyard hides a mystery: the three main ropes represent the land, the people and the faith respectively, and an absolute balance must be maintained between the warp and weft. Old craftsmen often say: “One wrong stitch will cause chaos, but only when all the threads are aligned can the world be at peace.” This weaving wisdom, as precise as national governance, is the epitome of the UAE’s transition from seven tribes to unity. When young people tie the lanyard to the flagpole, they are completing a dialogue between tradition and modernity, and a blood connection between individuals and the country. Today, when pearl collection has become a legend, the peacock lanyard still ties the UAE people to the same root system. Just as the national flag is always stretched toward the sky, this sweat-soaked fabric is continuing to write the fable of unity in every tightly tied knot.

阿联酋的初冬，总有一抹红与绿在风中交织。当国旗在迪拜塔顶猎猎飘扬时，佩戴着孔雀草挂绳的人们相视而笑——这是属于这片土地的默契，也是献给国家纪念日的无声礼赞。

在珍珠采集已成传说的今天，孔雀草挂绳仍将阿联酋人系于同一根系。正如国旗永远向着苍穹舒展，这方浸透汗水的织物，正在每个紧扣的绳结里续写着团结的寓言。
