في ديسمبر، أشرقت شمس الإمارات العربية المتحدة الذهبية على علمها الوطني الأحمر والأبيض، مُضفيةً حيويةً مُتقدة على احتفالات اليوم الوطني. لا ترمز ألوان علم الإمارات الأربعة إلى السيادة الوطنية فحسب، بل تُجسد أيضاً الروح الوطنية: الأحمر يُمثل الشجاعة الشجاعة، والأخضر يُجسد الأمل الوافر، والأبيض يُجسد الإيمان النقي، والأسود يُجسد قوة التاريخ. يختبئ هذا الرمز الروحي في حاملة ثقافية فريدة – حاملة أقلام خزفية مُزينة بعشب الطاووس. في الحرف اليدوية التقليدية في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، تُعتبر حاملة الأقلام المصنوعة من عشب الطاووس حارسةً للمعرفة والحكمة. يُشبه نقش عشب الطاووس على سطحها نموّ الحياة العنيد في الصحراء. حتى في درجات حرارة عالية تصل إلى 40 درجة مئوية، لا تزال تُزهر أزهاراً ذهبية، تماماً كعجائب شعب الإمارات الذين يزرعون الواحات في بيئة قاسية. يتماشى الشكل الدائري لحاملة الأقلام مع “كمال المعرفة” في الفلسفة العربية. الشكل المجوف يرمز إلى التواضع والتسامح، وطبقات الطين الملمسية تُشبه تراكم الحكمة المتوارثة جيلاً بعد جيل. عندما يضع الطلاب أقلامهم فيه، يصبح حامل القلم رمزاً روحياً للمجتهدين: يُذكرنا بأن المعرفة كعشب الطاووس، تحتاج إلى سقيها بمثابرة لتزهر؛ ويشهد كل ليلة على مرور رأس القلم، محولاً الشجاعة والأمل الكامنين في العلم الوطني إلى قوة لكتابة المستقبل. وكما قال الأب المؤسس لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الشيخ زايد: “الثروة الحقيقية ليست تحت الأرض، بل في قلوب الشعب”. هذا الحامل الصغير مليء بسعي الأمة الدؤوب نحو تحقيق أحلامها.

When students place their pens in it, the pen holder becomes a spiritual totem for strivers: it reminds us that knowledge is like peacock grass, which needs to be watered with perseverance to bloom; it witnesses every night when the pen tip passes through, transforming the courage and hope contained in the national flag into the power to write the future. As the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed, said: “The real wealth is not under the land, but in the hearts of the people.” This small pen holder is full of the nation’s never-ending pursuit of dreams.
